Technical Poor starting

Hi I have a Fiat Ducato 2.3 130 multijet and have poor starting, I have checked the glow plugs and they all have checked out ok. Checked the relay and don't seem to be getting any signal from the ECU,is there anywhere they can be checked and repaired

Yes checked and replaced the battery, this was one of the first things we did. The vehicle has always started but with working on diesels it takes to long to start,once it has started it starts straight away.

I had this problem with a merc sprint shift once, it always started but took a few turns to start, usually when it had been stood a while. turned out to be a faulty after market fuel filter I had fitted. I sussed it by fitting temp transparent fuel line from filter to hp pump. changed new filter and all was well
