Changing the Webber 32 DFAV on my ’78 124, for a new Webber 32/36DFAV a friend gave me, the 32/36 is all tuned the way I wanted:
i was given a 4.5mm base plate for the 32/36, while I pulled a 6.5 from existing the 32 carb.
Will this make any change in performance ?
Also I just went though the entire suspension and front wheels, replacing all bushings, bearings and seals. Not a needed it but after 50 years I figure it’s due.
thanks in advance for info on carb base plate, and suspension/ bearing & seal replacement.
