Of course I also tried your method without any success.
Hi woj, I just want to say THANK YOU for your great job! This is a very very interesting, clear, useful, detailed and exciting post!OK, promise is a promise. I will try to do it in steps and be informative, but at the same time I do not want to provide you with all my knowledgr...
Hi Woj
Actually I have some difficultys to tune the16F in my Cinque.
It has a 1242 cc engine with Punto 75 head and SPI with 36mm throttle. Together with an open exhaust and widened air intake (original air filter with housing kept) this ran fine with a MCritch Eprom and and fuel pressure adjusted to 1,2 bar.
During the last Winter I installed a CatCams 270 camshaft. This disturbed the balance of the engine as expected: due to the bigger overlap the engine consumed less air in the lower rpm range and subsequently mixture is now much richer – AFR 10-11at idle speed of 1000 rpm. The rich condition continues up to 2000. HC value is very high and beyond all limits to meet the required values for street use. With the lambda sensor active this was outside the limits for autocalibration.
Above 2000 at part throttle it went lean and autocalibration eventually worked (afterhaving carried out a reset of the autocalibration) using IAW scan.
To resetthe fuel maps I burned an eprom with the lambda flag deactivated. My intention was to set the part throttle map to anAFR of ~ 13,5 to be slightly richer than 14.7 and near enough to Lambda 1 to make the autocalibration work.
To cure the rich condition I lowered the values in the part throttle map in two steps with lambda measurements to check the efficiency of the measure. Both lowerings showed no effect on the lambda at idle. Still 10-11. Does there maybe exist an idle fuel map or am I missing something? I was re- reading your live mapping thread but got no enlightment so far.
Best regards Ernst
Hi pasto,
Did you try lambda sensor LSH-24 from Bosch? This is special kind of sensor dedicated for sport and it is slower than normal sensors. For example this is item no. for Fiat/Lancia - 0258 005 096
I think it could solve a problem...
Nice to read about your achievements with mapping. You are very advanced. I try with decompilers but my knowledge about processor and assembler is not enough for this...no I haven't tried. I, thanks to the help of a member, could find the lambda threshold temperature map. I can now modify the warm-up phase as I wish with an external afr.
but I'm still looking for the usefulness of all the maps that I could find by doing tests because there are still many of them whose function I do not know

I need to modify dwell - weak spark on high rpm - but I can't find maps for this... Could you give me any advice?
are there any devices that can work live, a little cheaper?
