Hi everyone! Just joined up. Long story short: My father is the original owner of a red 1979 124 Spider. We still have it, and my father and I want to restore it. There are no major mechanical issues. It'll run once we clean it up, but it needs a new paint job and interior work. I'm in Oklahoma, and my father and the Spider are in Ft. Worth. Can anyone recommend a good place for a paint job? Ideally, I would like to remove all the old paint first. But I understand that can be expensive. I don't want the new paint on top of the old.
