Fiorino 1.7d Info Required Desperately

Hi, have been offered a fiorino 1.7d 1993. What i would like to know is;

How economoical are they?

Are they reliable?

Are parts cheap / expensive?

Is bodywork generally sound?

Are there any issues with them?

Have looked fiat sites but i just get the spec. I want to get a general feel of the car before i consider buying it.
BTW, will be using it as a works vehicle (window cleaning).

Don't know any details on this car but I would suggest you take the ladders off before you go rallying in it

dave, thanks for reply. Are they economical, do you know?
The running costs are the most important thing once its established that fiorino isnt a white elephant. My present car (corolla 1.3) does best part of 50 mpg, with ladders on top. Am hoping to find out that fiorino isnt too far behind.

Polecat, i need the ladders to climb out of any ditches i might end up in.

not sure on the mpg but would think about 50 mpg as its a diesel, but its a 1.7 so will cost you more to tax it than a 1.3 if you live in the uk

if your near newcastly upon tyne, have a look in Gosforth autos, near wipeopen. they have a fiorino 1.7D in for scrap.
