New to the forum, but not to owning a Fiat! Have had a 1979 Spider for over 30 years. Its been the most fun per dollar of any car I've owned. Mostly stock.
Like to tinker with it. Put on a skid plate as the oil pan was getting banged up. Rewired the engine compartment with a fuse block off an old Mazda, this provides protected power to the headlight relays, fan, starter solenoid and the two power leads from the engine compartment to the stock fuse box. B pillar supports for the seat belt shoulder harness anchors. Put a circuit breaker on the battery cable in the trunk and added a remote electric trunk release. Replaced the clock with an oil pressure gauge, also have a vacuum gauge so as to know when the distributor vacuum advance can has fried. Hardi fuel pump in the trunk. Just upgraded to an MSD-6AL ignition. Loads of fun to drive this car!
