I have a 1.2 strada same engine as Palio. Recently I noticed that the fan seems to kick in at a higher temperature than normal and that in the past the fan would sometimes run for a period after the car had stopped. It seems to reach just over half on the temp gauge before the fan kicks in and brings it back to about a third before kicking off. In the past the temperature would run just over 1/4. I also notice that when the aircon is on the fan will not run all the time, as far as I know it should be on if the aircon is engaged. Up to now it seems to regulate between half and 1/3 whilst standing. Any ideas o why the temperature would be running hotter now.
I dont think it is the head gasket as it is not overheating it just does not seem to run at the normal temperature I am used to seeing.
