Here is my son's first car: 2001 Seicento SX 1.1 MPI in metallic grey he's been using for a year and now wants to sell to move on to something a bit bigger (please check the advert update at the bottom).
It has 56k miles on the clock but this will raise as used daily. MOT valid until 17/10/2024. Car has got a sunroof, tachometer as well as bespoke voltage and coolant thermometer. Electric windows, Kenwood radio/CD player and reversing sensors (but these are not working very well).
Many parts replaced within last 6 months:
- new alternator,
- new cambelt with water pump and tensioner,
- new standard IAW 59F.M7 ECU (old ECU available and working),
- new pair of Bosch ignition coils,
- new ignition leads (old available for new owner as they are OK)
- new sparks (old available for new owner as they are OK),
- new camshaft and crankshaft sensors (old available for new owner as they are OK),
- new windscreen washer pump,
- new front wiper blades,
- two new front tyres fitted a month ago,
- clutch cable replaced but needs adjusting,
- battery still under warranty.
It had the head gasket done a few months ago with head skimming (see photo) and new bolts and all seals / gaskets fitted to manifolds and obviously with oil/filter and coolant replaced too.
It has 2 keys, owner manual and file full of receipts as well as OEM Workshop Manual on CD-ROM. Available with spare wheel but jack has bent rod so needs new jack. There is as well internal sunroof cover. Could do with seats cleaning. Some small scratches on the body and alloys as expected on the 22-year old car. Otherwise a great little runner, perfect as a second car, for commuting, new drivers. Increasingly rare and fun to drive. ULEZ compliant.
UPDATE: car had a small accident few months ago so check the few last photos how it looks like currently. Price updated to reflect this. Car still drives OK (OS headlight and indicator work) but SORNed at the moment.
