Gendan bundle comes with OBDlink SX USB reader which is what the guys on here recommend I believe.

I have an OBDLink SX. This is a cabled USB connection as opposed to Blue Tooth.

I also have and ELM.

Both were purcahsed from GENDAN. Both work on evertything I've tried.

Personally I would go for the OBDLink SX. A little more expensive but I've seen no reported issues on forums with this interface.

Note also that GENDAN supplied devices all work and they offer god support as well.

Got the OBDLink SX+ and adapters, made a readout and a proxy aligment :)

That is great news.

People interested in MES and hardware should understand / learn that kit supplied by the authorised dealers will/should always work and if not they will help you out. Kit sourced off eBay and other places may work but when you look at the MES Forum and http://forum.multiecuscan.net/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=1493 then you can see the pain and long list of issues with kit from non authorised distributors.

MES is not perfect but nothing is and with authorised kit, the Forum and MES Support then you are in a better place altogether.
